While there's not really any hard news about a follow-up to Joanna Newsom's grandiose 2006 release Ys (other than a snippet on Vogue's website indicating that she's recording her album in Tokyo), there's absolutely no shortage of pictures of the singer. There's pictures of Joanna Newsom at  the Emmys, pictures of her and Harmony Korine's girlfriend onVice's website, and now she's doing the whole model chick thing for an Armani spread in W Magazine.

So yeah, if you're hard up waiting for Zs, just look at these pretty pictures or the video below, and play a few of the Joanna Newsom bootlegs that are floating around the Internet. If Newsom is really in Tokyo recording with Jim O'Rourke, then you'll get your album soon enough, and if she isn't? I mean, wouldn't you be taking pictures if you looked that good?
