My Morning Jacket's Jim James has announced that he will be releasing a new EP in tribute to late Beatles guitarist George Harrison, titled Tribute to, and is due out on August 4 via ATO. James is releasing the EP, which features six songs, four from Harrison's All Things Must Pass and two Beatles songs Harrison wrote, under the name Yim Yames, which is the same moniker he's using in his Monsters of Folk project with Conor Oberst and M. Ward.

James reportedly cut the EP in 2001 right after Harrison's death, and decided to release it now. You can hear James' cover of "Behind That Locked Door" by going here.
