Monsters of Folk unites artists who could alone sell out arenas, so the band's tour this fall could be sensational. Jim James of My Morning Jacket, Conor “Bright Eyes” Oberst, producer Mike Mogis, and M. Ward of She & Him make up the outfit. The foursome will play musical chairs at the shows, swapping instruments and roles throughout. They will span the U.S. and Canada before swooping into Europe.
The Monsters are collaborating with music philanthropy and social change group Air Traffic Control to donate $1 to non-profits for each ticket sold.
You can download "Say Please" from their upcoming self-titled debut album, out Sept 22, here.
