Jessie Ware’s sophomore LP, Tough Love, is due out on August 3; today, the high-reaching chanteuse has shared a deluxe-album-only cut she recorded with Julio Bashmore (as producer) and the xx’s guitarist/vocalist Romy Madley-Croft.
Maybe it’s Madley-Croft’s influence, but “Share It All” finds Ware’s music at its most roomy and vitreous at the same time, with her soft-but-sensuous voice like a whisper echoing in a cathedral. The song beautifully plays up the Sade comparisons Ware has been getting since her breakthrough single “Running” come out back in 2012.
