Jessica Simpson Is Not Joining Smashing Pumpkins (Video)

The unholy alliance between Billy Corgan and Jessica Simpson has already generated plenty of column inches, and now get ready to read some more—yes, just to give you a few more minutes of your life that you’ll never get back, Simpson has spoken to MTV about their collaboration in this video clip.

"I don't know that I would be a good addition to the Smashing Pumpkins," she said, jokingly, although it wouldn’t be surprising if the thought had crossed Corgan’s mind. “I don't know that I can stand onstage and represent Billy the way he is," she added. "He does that fine on his own." Long suffering Smashing Pumpkins fans might argue the exact opposite of that statement in recent years.
