Singer-songwriter Jennifer O'Connor has plenty of upcoming tour plans. She has one more appearance this month, a couple scheduled for August, then settles in for steady touring in October. No word on any follow-up to her Matador debut from last year, Over the Mountain, Across the Valley, and Back to the Stars. But that just gives more people more time to catch up with O'Connor's music if they haven't done so yet. I saw her open for Dean and Britta earlier this year and was wowed. If you're down for a night of starkly beautiful, gut-wrenching songs, she's not to be missed.
