The Obama indie music lovefest continues unabated. Not to be outdone by the Arcade Fire, Wilco frontman Jeff Tweedy will be hosting a second benefit concert for presidential candidate Barack Obama. Billed as “Jeff Tweedy and Friends,” the show will take place at the Park West Theatre on July 11. Otis Clay will take the stage with Tweedy, but more could be announced as the week goes on. Though the two hundred dollar ticket price might seem steep, one important friend that will be making an appearance is Senator Obama. I wonder if “Christ for President” will be on the set list.
