Jeff Buckley Musical Based On 'Romeo & Juliet' In The Works
In addition to two Jeff Buckley films that are scheduled for release this year, the Guardian reports that a Buckley-based musical is also on the way. The Last Goodbye musical is being directed by two-time Tony Award nominee Alex Timbers and tells a contemporary version of Romeo and Juliet using Buckley's songs, including "Lover, You Should Have Come Over" and "Eternal Life."
The Last Goodbye is currently casting with rehearsals scheduled for January 2013.
