Jeff Buckley Biopic Moving Forward
So, it turns out that the Jeff Buckley biopic that was rumored to be starring Robert Pattinson is moving forward, but without any star attached. The film currently has a director--Jake Scott--and is currently in the casting stage. It has a script too, and it is going to be produced by Buckley's mom, Mary Guibert. The film is sure to touch on Buckley's staunch refusal to be a "star" and his death at 30 after drowning in Tennessee. There are still a lot of other things to overcome, but the film is moving forward, at least. [Deadline]
