Right before J. Cole stepped on stage to host a New Year's Eve at TAO in Las Vegas, the NC rapper revealed that Born Sinner was being pushed back. In a short interview with Pop Stop TV, Cole stated he was still working on his next album. "Nah, it's not going to be January 28. It's going to be a little later than that. I needed more time."
The original date of Jan. 28, is actually J. Cole's birthday, but the expectations are sky high for his sophomore release so it delay seemed inevitable.
