Jayhawks Reunite for Pair of Shows

The Jayhawks are reuniting after more than a decade to play shows featuring their lineup circa Tomorrow the Green Grass. Initially, the band fractured after Mark Olson left following the tour for that record. Olson reunited with Gary Louris in 2001, which eventually led to this year's Ready for the Flood . It wasn't until this year, though, that the full band has been available to play together. Olson and Louris are spending April on tour promoting Ready for the Flood , and then the Jayhawks will play in May in Barcelona and in July in their native Minneapolis. Look for more Jayhawks shows next year as well, as Louris stated that they are "hoping to play Bonnaroo and things like that."
