Jay-Z’s The Blueprint 3 gets December 2 release date

Now that Kanye’s new album, 808s and Heartbreak, has a November release date, December has been cleared as the landing zone for Jay-Z’s The Blueprint 3, which now has a December 2 release date. As previously reported, Kanye helms most of the production duties on the album, and it features the previously released “Jockin’ Jay-Z,” which came out in August.

As a side-bar in Kanye and Jay-related news, a second version of their track (along with Lil Wayne) with T.I., “Swagger Like Us,” is reportedly in the can featuring Nas, Young Jeezy, and Andre 3000. Expect “Swagger Like Us Pt. 2” to drop soon. [Nahright]
