The weekend of September 1 and 2, Jay-Z (and Budweiser?) will take over Philly's Ben Franklin Parkway for the Made In America Festival, featuring Skrillex, Maybach Music Group, Passion Pit, Drake, Pearl Jam, and the HOV himself.
Now comes news that Jay is looking to turn the festival into a movie. According to the New York Post, director Ron Howard and producer Bryan Grazer are carpooling down to Philly that weekend to shoot the show documentary style. "It is going to be born through Jay-Z’s perspective . . . how he puts the event together,” says Grazer. “Jay stayed the king for a very long time . . . I can’t even begin to explain how he is capable of remaining relevant. He is a phenom, like a musical Michael Jordan.”
Opie and Jay-Z: together at last!
