Typically, I'd be leery of an artist trying to hitch their ride on September 11 rememberance and releasing their album that date, since that's just a way to grab extra publicity. But the news that Jay-Z's upcoming Blueprint 3 might be out on September 11, 2009 via his Roc Nation makes some sense; the first Blueprint came out on September 11, 2001.  So it'd be an anniversary of sorts.

There's still no news on which label will be distributing the album (reports say Sony), but word is that Atlantic will be handling the promotion, leading everyone to believe that Atlantic will be distributing. [Real Talk NY]
