Mogul that he is, Jay-Z has announced plans to bring together two of his biggest business endeavors. On September 28, Jay-Z will open a 9,000 square-foot branch of his 40/40 Club sports bar chain inside Barclay’s Center, soon-to-be home of the Brooklyn Nets, of which Jay is co-owner.
The venue will apparently be open to ticket-holders during games, concerts and other events. Now if he can just find a way to sell Rocawear in 40/40, he’ll have mastered cross-marketing. [AHH]
