Jay-Z Tops Forbes Hip-Hop Earners List
In case you didn't notice, Jay-Z's having a hell of a year. Along with dropping one of 2011's most anticipated albums -- Watch The Throne with Kanye West -- Jigga also made bank. Like, the most bank out of all his hip-hop brethren. Forbes announced that Jay-Z has topped their hip-hop earners list for 2011 with $37 million made in the past 12 months.
Coming in at number two is Diddy, who earned $35 million, and at number three is Kanye, who earned $16 million. After that it's basically exactly who you would expect, from Eminem to Akon to Drake, and then a certain animated someone marking the first appearance of a women on one of these lists. Of course, I'm talking about Nicki Minaj, who is ranked at number 15 with $6.5 million earned.
