Jay-Z and Oasis see chart boost out of Glastonbury feud

Maybe Noel Gallagher knew what he was doing after all when picking a fight with Jay-Z. Out of all the ruckus surrounding Glastonbury's selection, there is a silver lining for both parties in the feud: chart sales. Not only will Jay-Z's "99 Problems" and "Numb/Encore" crack the top 40 of the U.K. singles chart this week, but sales of the "Wonderwall" single and it's 1995 album, What's The Story (Morning Glory), will spike as well. So basically, the feud worked like a marketing scheme Kanye/50 Cent style, except half of it involves a twee British white guy. Oasis' new album Dig Out Your Soul hits stores October 6.
