Jay-Z’s portfolio diversification continues with D’Usse Cognac, a Bacardi-made brand of cognac that Jay-Z launched in New York this week. It appears that Hov is sick of giving out free advertising for Hennessey and Courvoisier, and he decided getting into the cognac game would be a good call. D’Usse will sell for $44.99 for a 750-ml bottle, which isn’t that expensive, all things considered. But will it be better than Hennessey, or even approach its market share?
