While just about everything else is getting more expensive in these murky economic times, Jay-Z has reduced his hefty appearance fee to combat a lack of interest. While Hov’s popularity is still generally intact—and probably about to get a surge from his upcoming Blueprint 3 LP—finding someone willing to drop nearly 50 large to be graced with his presence isn’t as easy as it used to be. Even after dropping his fee to a more reasonable price roughly equivalent to that of a used Camry (try getting a loan for that), he’s reportedly still straining for takers. Apparently, we really are all sharing the burden of recession, but something gives me the feeling Jay won’t have any trouble keeping his table either way. [angryape]
