Fans who attended Jay-Z’s eight night run at Barclays Center couldn’t help but notice that the rapper was sporting a custom Brooklyn Nets jersey on-stage. Some took to Twitter wondering where they could find the product, and though initially it was a one-of-a-kind item, now it can be yours.
Hova will be auctioning off 10 of his “Carter 4” jerseys through NBA.com’s auction site (via Billboard) starting today and ending on Halloween. The jerseys, which will also be signed by the mogul, will likely cost you a pretty penny, but it’s all going to a good cause: the rapper’s Shawn Carter Foundation, which aids students facing economic hardships. The bidding begins at $500.
For those who are big memorabilia fans, or just big Jay-Z, this is your opportunity to not be big pimpin’ in his jersey, but help people in need as well.
