Jay-Z announces inauguration eve concert

Those reports that had Jay-Z performing at the inauguration turned out to be just a wish-- the performers are instead going to be rogues like Aretha Franklin, Yo-Yo Ma, and Itzhak Pearlman-- but the Brooklyn MC has instead announced plans for an inauguration concert at D.C.'s Warner Theater. 

The concert will be a more intimate affair-- the theater only has 1,847 seats-- and will feature a live band. Tickets will be available to the general public this Friday, January 9. [Contact Music]
