Jay-Z And Kanye's 'Watch The Throne' Breaks iTunes Sales Records

Now that it's been out for one week on iTunes and is pretty goddamn good, it's time for Jay-Z and Kanye West's Watch The Throne to start breaking sales records. While we won't know it's official first-week numbers until Wednesday, apparently the album has already demolished the previous record for most albums sold in one week on iTunes.

Of course, this was to be expected because you couldn't get it digitally anywhere else (right?). But still, it's impressive to know that Ye and Jigga could topple their favorite British singer's band, Coldplay, by almost double. According to The Life Files, Watch The Throne sold 290,000 copies while in 2008, Coldplay's Viva La Vida sold 155,000 copies.

Be sure to check back on Wednesday for the Billboard results and full sales list.
