Jay-Z, 50 Cent, And Nas To Record Together?

A remix to Jay-Z's first chart-topping single might feature verses from Nas and 50 Cent, according to HipHopDX. Apparently, someone leaked information after eavesdropping on a conversation at a New York Giant's office. This would be bizarre on several levels, most specifically because 50 has never squashed his beefs with Nas and Jay -- who once had an ongoing beef of their own that was settled years ago.

It's doubtful Jay or Nas would want to appear on anything with 50, never-mind a remix of Jigga's biggest track ever. Anyone want to guess who "overheard" this rumor and leaked it? All signs point to 50 just trying to gain some more exposure. Or maybe it was Beanie Sigel, who has taken several shots recently at his former-friend, Jay-Z. If any kind of remix is made, it should just feature Nas anyway. His similarly titled "N.Y. State of Mind" off Illmatic is still the best New York anthem.
