Jay Reatard’s First Album To Be Reissued, Available For Streaming

    It’s been over a year since the brutal, uncompromising Jay Reatard passed away, an anniversary that was marked by announcements of a documentary on the punk artist’s life, and reissues of Reatard’s pre-solo material. On that front, Reatard’s very first release, 1998’s Teenage Hate from the Reatards, will be released come May 17 on Goner. With Teenage Hate will come Fuck Elvis, Here’s the Reatards, a collection of material that had only previously been released on cassette, including Reatards covers of the Beatles and Buddy Holly.
