Jay Reatard Documentary To Get First Theatrical Release

Better Than Something, a documentary that was shot right before Jay Reatard's untimely and unfortunate death in 2010, has been a festival hit in the last year, being screened at a bunch of fests. The film is about to reach a wider, non-festival audience, however: The film has been announced for a national release, hitting theaters in Memphis, Brooklyn, Seattle, Portland, and other places in between.
