The AP is reporting that the May 24 death of former Wilco sideman Jay Bennett, whose departure from the band was caught on celluloid via I'm Trying to Break Your Heart, has been ruled an accidental overdose. Bennett was taking the pain reliever fentanyl, which according to the AP, is "found in patches commonly prescribed to treat chronic pain." [via Pitchfork]
