Broken Social Scene's Jason Collett to release third solo album

· by

Arts & Crafts will release Jason Collett'''s solo album, Here'''s to Being Here, on February 5. Collett promises his third solo effort will be a ''"very tasteful''" record and he will feature (surprise, surprise) guest spots from fellow Broken Social Scene member and Apostle Of Hustle frontman Andrew Whiteman, plus Tony Scherr (Norah Jones) and The Stills' Liam O'Neil. The album was produced by Howie Beck and recorded in Toronto and Collett is backed by his touring band, Paso Mino.
The Canadian artist will also be playing a special series of shows in December called "Jason Collett's Basement Revue" that will be held at Toronto's Dakota Tavern on December 4, 11 and 18. Collett will perform tracks from his three solo albums and throughout this series, shows will include, you guessed it, surprise guests.
