Jarvis' Solo Project

If you're like me, you've been wondering where the hell Jarvis Cocker's been every time you hear "Common People" at a bar or club, or see William Shatner on TV. If you're not, you either don't give a rat's ass about him or his band Pulp, or you happen to keep up with these things, and already know that the man has been working on a new solo album. And some details have arrived. Set for November release, Jarvis will be released by Jarvis, who has dropped his Cocker. Yes, that could have been phrased better.
If you can't wait for the release date, check out Jarvis's Myspace Page for the politically-driven "Running the World," which will not be appearing on his solo debut, a video, and two "Jarvcasts." No, I'm not making that last one up.

Prefix is SO on a first-name-headline basis with Mr. Cocker.
