Perhaps in karmic retribution for Transformers 2, the powers that be at Hollywood have decided to make a sequel to an enjoyable movie, 2008's underrated Forgetting Sarah Marshall. The sequel, Get Him to the Greek, will focus on Russell Brand's Aldous Snow as he is about to open a huge tour at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles. Though the rule is that sequels very rarely live up to the original, the movie has something going for it in the music department. Three songs that Brand's character will be performing in the film were written by ex-Pulp frontman Jarvis Cocker. Hopefully, there will also be a role for Cocker in the film, and he can remind movie audiences what it is to be truly British, urbane, and skinny. Get Him to the Greek will be released in 2010. It received a lot of B and C grades, whereas movies liked Knocked Up and 40 Year Old Virgin were hailed as the second coming of comedy. |

Brand is weak, as are Apatow's movies, try the Mighty Boosh, Darkplace or Black Books for the real British comedy which Brand has watered down. |

I don't think Forgetting Sarah Marshall qualifies as underrated. It was commercially and critically successful considering it was R-rated and no real big names among the cast
