Critics are people too, Jared!

[Contact via Stereogum]
We should all hope that Jared Leto is content with his current actor/musician workload and that he doesn't harbor any secret desire to become a politician or a cult leader or something. Otherwise, the brand of vigilante justice he dreams of could spell doom for music critics and the people who love them. Here's Leto's disturbing fantasy regarding critics, as related to Contact:
"Sometimes you want to take a baseball bat to someone's face. Or maybe their kneecaps--that would probably be more fun. There are some people who might look better if you smacked them in the head with a baseball bat."
It's a good thing all of us here love 30 Minutes to Jupiter, or whatever his band is called. Otherwise we'd be potential targets.

That comment surely also applies to Elijah Wood - according to Elijah, Jared Leto put a hand around his throat for talking smack about his band. Nice guy!

Surely he's already gotten a lot of criticism of his acting, why should he get all whiny about people not liking his music? Especially when it sucks this much. Asshat.
