Janet Jackson was scheduled to support her chart-topping new album Discipline with an appearance as the musical guest on this weekend's episode of Saturday Night Live. But Janet's doctors have thrown a little discipline her way. They've told her to take some bed rest in order to battle the flu she's come down with. So pinch-hitting for Janet on SNL will be none other than her fellow R&B songstress Mariah Carey. Mariah, returning to the show for the first time in over a decade, will be hyping her soon-to-drop E=MC2. She'll join host Jonah Hill of Superbad fame. Those two are a Conan "If They Mated" I'd like to see!

Mariah I'm a true fan, I have all your music. I know your on a diet but if you workout almost everyday you can eat whatever you want. I like barbcue chicken and ribs, potatoes, greens, fryed fish, wine, Blue Hawaiian drinks, cake and pies. Don't starve, just workout. Don't forget the salads and fruits this is also the key to a healthy body. Be healthy, be happy says the little bumble bee.
