Janet Jackson's nipple is not indecent

The unfortunate incident at the 2004 Super Bowl, which saw Justin Timberlake corrupt the minds of a nation by exposing Janet Jackson’s nipple for a split second, has finally been laid to rest. A three-judge panel at the federal appeals court has thrown out a $550,000 indecency fine against CBS Corp.

The incident, which introduced the term “wardrobe malfunction” into the language, was not deemed fine-worthy by the panel, which reverses a decision made by the Federal Communications Commission. Fortunately YouTube allows us to revisit this memorable moment in Super Bowl history, in the wonderfully titled clip “Janet Jackson Tits During Superbowl.” [Billboard]

The nipple was pasted over anyway. They had Lil Kim wearing the same thing on MTV a few years earlier.
