JamsBio lists the Beatles' songs from worst to best

JamsBio has an ambitious and entertaining list up that counts the Beatles' songbook (185 songs) down from worst song to best. Each song has  a pretty lenghty essay detailing the song's origin, lyrics, and why it's good or bad.

They have "Revolution 9" from The White Album down as the worst, and I can't say I disagree. But they do have "I Want You (She's So Heavy)" as the third worst, and that's one of my favorite Beatles songs, so I have to disagree there. Their pick for number one is semi-predictable ("A Day in the Life") but number two is pretty ballsy-- they go with "I Am The Walrus," which depending on your perspective, is a really great song, or a really terrible song. (I fall into the former.)

It's a really interesting read. Go here to read the whole thing. [via LHB
