Jamie Stewart of Xiu Xiu schedules solo dates

Even though he just added a new member to Xiu Xiu (Devin Hoff, who has played with Carla Bozulich and Nels Cline in the past), Jamie Stewart will first play some solo dates on the U.S. west coast before hauling the full band over to Europe. He'll be appearing with Matador's Shearwater, a band that has been touring with Xiu Xiu lately. Here's where to catch Stewart's emotions in all their raw, singular fury:
