James Blake Covers Joni Mitchell, Works With Bon Iver On New EP, 'Enough Thunder'

It appears that two of the more interesting tracks to emerge since the release of James Blake's stellar eponymous full-length debut will end up on his forthcoming Enough Thunder EP. The project, which is due in October and features six tracks, is set to feature his collaboration with Bon Iver and his cover of Joni Mitchell's "A Case of You."

We heard the latter back in February when he debuted it on Zane Lowe's BBC Radio 1 program. As far as the cut with Bon Iver, that hit the web last week to the shrieking glee of weirdo R&B-lovers (myself included) everywhere. The other four tracks on the EP are entirely Blake originals as he recorded, produced, wrote, and sang 'em all. It should go without saying that this has certainly moved onto our most-anticipated projects of 2011 list.

Enough Thunder drops Oct. 10 on Atlas. You can stream the track with Bon Iver, "Fall Creek Boys Choir," below while the EP's cover art is to the above-left of this text.
