Via: BillboardJadakiss entered a not guilty plea yesterday to charges of possessing a loaded handgun and marijuana. The charges stem from an arrest last October in Yonkers, N.Y. when police stopped the car he was in after smelling marajuana.
The D-Block rapper's lawyer, Clement Patti, claims that Jadakiss was in the back seat of the car and had no idea there was a gun in the front console. "I have yet to see or hear of any evidence connecting my client to possessing this weapon."
If convicted, he could face anywhere between 16 months and seven years in prison.
