The slow process of starting the trial for Conrad Murray, the doctor charged in the death of Michael Jackson, is still slow and in process, though some news around the trial broke today as the jury selection process begins. The judge has barred the testimony of a handful of doctors who would have testified that Jackson had an addiction to painkillers, which would have given credence to Murray's claim that Jackson killed himself with drugs. But the judge won't let those doctors testify, leaving Murray's defense team in an even bigger hole. The trial is set to start the last week of September, and will probably be a circus.
