Jack White isn't happy unless he's got about 349 projects going at once. He's about to tour with the Dead Weather. He opened his own record label and store. He's got The Raconteurs and The White Stripes on hiatus. He's producing other people's works. And later this year, he is set to begin work on his solo debut. That's right, White is planning on going solo.
In an interview with Music Connection, White said that he "hopes to start working on a solo album at the end of 2009," which would be the first time (outside of contributions to the Cold Mountain soundtrack) that White would be on his own. What style that solo album will be, as well as a release date, is up in the air. But you could probably bet on it rocking. [24 Bit]
