Jack White Is Not Joining Any More Bands, So Quit Asking Already
They've hardly had time to feel nostalgic for the White Stripes, and Jack White is pulling the rug out from his fans again. Those dedicated to following his blues-influenced rock sounds will only have the opportunity to do so in the Dead Weather, the Raconteurs, and a few unspecified solo projects he's open to recording. Though it puts the kibosh on my idea for a Zombies cover band fronted by Jack White, Ryan Adams and Pete Doherty, White's announcement, much like the one that officially ended the White Stripes, seems only to reaffirm a status quo in his career to which his fans have long since adjusted.
