There's not a whole lot happening on The White Stripes front as far as music is concerned, but there's a bit of good news that's trickled out from Jack and Meg White; On May 22 in the backyard of Jack White's Nasvhille home, White Stripes drummer Meg White got married to Jackson Smith, son of Patti Smith and guitarist for Detroit band Back In Spades.

The ceremony was actually a double wedding; Jack Lawrence, bassist for the Dead Weather and The Raconteurs, married his girlfriend, Jo McCaughey. It also looks like the reverend who officiated over the ceremony, Benjamin Swank, is the former drummer for Ohio band the Soledad Brothers, making this one of the most rock 'n roll weddings likely to take place this year. Congratulations to the happy couples!
