It's going to take everything in me to not load this article with subliminal shots at Ja Rule, who pleaded guilty this morning to attempted weapon possession. He was then sentenced to two years in prison for the charge that stems from a July 2007 arrest.
According to the New York Daily News, the arrest came after police stopped him in his Mercedez-Benz Maybach and found a loaded .40-caliber in the vehicle. Ja could have faced 3.5 to 15 years in prison had the case going to trial.
The only quote from Ja during his departure from the court house is as follows:
In case you want more news from Ja, follow him on Twitter. Trust me, you'll want to click that link -- apparently he and 50 Cent are beefing again.
wait... he had a loaded 40 cal in the car, and was "attempting" to possess it? Dude doesn't sound like the world's most dangerous anymore.
Yeah, that's how it was worded when reported everywhere. Weird, I know.
