MurderIncOnline reports that Ja Rule'''s upcoming release, The Mirror, originally scheduled for a November release date, has been pushed back to an indefinite release date in 2008. Irv Gotti said ''"sample-clearance issues''" were behind the most recent delay.
Ja'''s most recent singles, ''"Uh-Oh''" and ''"Body,''" both have failed to make a major impact on radio and television, though label promotion hasn'''t been great. Now, with an indefinite release date hanging over the album, it seems more and more likely that the project will be incredibly difficult to release. Still, with Gotti'''s reality series garnering media attention and Ja still as well known a holdover from rap'''s heyday as there is in the game, we have to believe that Motown would make at least some effort to get this album into stores.

Ja Rule best rapper today by far. No more Pac & no more Em, Ja Rule is the last one left, well other than Jay-Z. But his music is nothing to be all excited about. Hurry up and release this damn album! Its been 3 years since his last one dropped. Thats to long inbetween cd's! Who's he trying to be?...Dr Dre? |
