James “J” Prince was cleared of assault charges July 9, 2008. Prince was accused of organizing an attack on 7303 recording studio owner Ronnie Bookman but later cleared due to inconsistent statements from witnesses.
Bookman claimed he was severely beaten at Prince's Fresh Recreation Center Gym in Houston, TX after Prince refused to clear some Bun B. Vocals for a 7303 album that they previously agreed upon.
Bookman’s $10 million suit against Prince for “breach of contract, battery, unfair competition, duress, conspiracy and unjust enrichment” was also thrown out. [All Hip Hop]
