North Carolina's J. Cole and Compton's Kendrick Lamar have been toying with the idea of a collaborative project for a minute, and now it looks the thing is really going to see the light of day. As Cole recently told North Dakota's Hot 97.5:
“I just started working with Kendrick the other day. We got it in, finally, again. [It's gonna be an] album, man. ... We actually worked, bouncing ideas, which was great. The vibe was so good that it was like, man, that’s absolutely gonna happen. ... We got maybe four or five [songs] together."
Since Kendrick is basically eternally on-point and Cole ain't too shabby himself, we're definitely looking forward to this one, and we'll keep you posted about further developments. For now, though, watch the rest of the Hot 97 interview below.
