J. Cole Cancels Pre-Album Mixtape
Bad news, J. Cole fans. It looks like the rising Roc Nation star won't be putting out a mixtape before he drops Cole Word: The Sideline Story after all. Instead, he has decided to go the free weekly music series route, like Snoop Dogg, Kanye West, and numerous other rappers before him. J. Cole will be dropping a track that didn't make the cut for the album each week leading up to its late September release. No word yet on when that series will begin, but we'll be sure to post whatever he drops whenever he decides to drop it.
Cole World: The Sideline Story is due out Sept. 27. You can watch an interview with J. Cole below.
