Amongst several other highlights, the J. Cole-produced "HiiiPoWeR" was one of the finer moments on buzzing West Coast rapper Kendrick Lamar's latest project, Section.80. And anyone who heard the track probably thought the same thing: "Damn, these guys should do an entire project together." As most rap blog-goers likely know, Cole and Lamar have indeed been working on a joint effort. But it wasn't entirely clear just what kind of project would materialize, be it a mixtape, EP, or proper album. That changed last night, of course, when Cole revealed that they have a full-length album on the way because the music they're working on is apparently too good to merely land on a mixtape. He then stated that it might take around eight to nine months to finish it up, so I doubt we'll be hearing anything from it until the end of the year or so.
