Warner Music Group taking a pass on iTunes contract?

Although fans love the 99-cent deals at iTunes, record labels and movie studios definitely aren'''t sending the digital music behemoth any valentines. Unhappy with the price limits set by Apple, Universal Music Group snubbed a two-year deal with iTunes opting to go month-to-month while apparently researching and developing other options. Looks like Warner Music Group is following suit. The labels are looking for either new music services on which to shill their wares or looking to gain enough leverage to bargain with iTunes for more per-download money. The only thing fans are likely to get out of this deal is perhaps greater access to un-copy- restricted downloads.
