Isobel Campbell and Mark Lanegan Postpone U.S. Dates; Fans of Smoldering, Gravelly Singing Extra Bummed

Isobel Campbell, who was to have made her U.S. debut with Mark Lanegan  at the end of the month, has announced that shows have been posponed until September. No reasons were given other than that "unavoidable circumstances" forced the move. Campbell, who made the announcement on her MySpace, went on to say that any tickets already sold would be honored in September and that additional dates would be announced when venues are confirmed. Mark Lanegan has yet to comment on the postponements, but something tells me he's just happy (or as close to happy as he gets) to be able to watch the NBA playoffs in peace. [NME]
