Islands' <i>Vapours</i> Streaming Online
The cover of Islands’ Vapours has a kitschy beach-store look; it could easily be screen-printed onto a T-shirt hanging between the hermit crabs and foam body boards. Streaming on Exclaim!as of today, Vapours has a resort vibe as well, with the accessibility of a beach read and enough instrumental warmth to at least kind of transport you to a far off paradise -- even though, well, the band is from Montreal. The album is out Sept. 22 on Anti-.
