Islands Announce Third Album, Titled <i>Vapours</i>

Glory be and Hallelujah! The indie Gods have heard our prayers and bestowed upon us a third full length Islands record to be released on September 22nd on Anti- Records. Islands, who serve as a strong reminder of indie-pop staple The Unicorns, are calling their new release Vapours, and produced it with the help of Chris Coady, who also lists the Yeah Yeah Yeahs on his recording resume. Joining former Unicorns member Nick Thorburn (aka Nick Diamonds), fellow Unicorn Jamie Thompson (J'aime Tambeur) has returned to play on Vapours after leaving Islands in 2006.
